Like, we’ve seen in our article about São João in Braga, there are many locations in Portugal that celebrate São João. Porto is one of them. Let’s dive into our simple guide!
Update: As São João celebrations approach, please do not release sky lanterns (balões de mecha acesa). With hot and dry conditions affecting many parts of Portugal, these lanterns can travel long distances and pose a serious fire risk. 🎈 While releasing lanterns is a cherished tradition, public safety must come first.
