New Hiking Alert in Portugal! If you’re visiting Madeira and are planning to explore one of its incredible trails, make sure to read the new rules! To reduce crowds, Madeira will be introducing on January 1st a new system for PR Trails. 

All visitors must reserve a time-slot to go on walk or hike on one of these trails (+ pay a small fee if you are not a resident of the Autonomous Region of Madeira). SIMplifica is the official platform to book guided tours or independent hikes.
